you can use some fabric and just wrapped and sew around the head, where she could chew but not eat it.

The cotton or fleece sounds great. If you cut that in circles ,say , 10 inch circle and then cut all around that until you reach the center in one long piece, it will curl when it hangs .
I would use stripped fleece, soft to the touch and they are always chewing on fleece blankets LOL figure fleece doesn't shred
Hi, You could use torn strips of fabric or even serger some 1" strips and sew them on. Happy Doll making!
Stich or hand embroider a few strands of hair onto the head instead. Or use a permanent marker and draw a few on it. Problem with yarn issues solved. I can't wait to hear what other suggestions come up.
Good luck!!
I already stuffed it and sewed it on the body. I did not want to use a marker because it will be going in her mouth!! LOL!!
What about using cotton cut in strips with pinking shears. Attached to the top of the head. It can be washed and it can't hurt her if she puts it in her mouth.
Actually that was what I was thinking of doing.. Just wondering if someone did it and how it worked!!
