Anita, thank goodess that it was a clean break - take care of her needs - but don't over do - she also needs to learn how to deal with all this, too. I will be praying for all of you.
Only one of the three broken bones was a clean break. The other two breaks the separated bones are twisted and don't line up. The ER doctor indicated surgery to align them may be necessary. When the doctor says she can bear weight on her foot that will help a lot so we don't have to keep taking her crutches up and down the stairs for her. We have already had a discussion on driving with her left foot and she says you know I'm not that coordinated. It is also an hours round trip into town and I can't see two trips into town every day just to get her to work and home. She complained that her ribs were hurting and there is some bruising on her side. The good thing is this is an injury and not a health concern and I'm getting a change of pace from what I have been doing. Thanks for the prayers ~ we want to avoid surgery.
I'll be praying for your daughter and for you....Gods Blessings
Sorry to hear about this. Will send prayers your way. and hugs. DeVon
Thank you. I really need the hugs ~ she is running me ragged already. Went into town just to pick up some lounging pants with extra wide legs. Will start to take out the seam on a few of her work pants and sew in a temporary gusset.
I'm sorry your daughter hurt her foot. Praying all will go well for her and that she will not be in pain much longer. Hugs, Judy
Thank you. She was given a note not to go to work until August 17th one day before her birthday & had asked off for August 18th and 19th. Will see how her work takes this news.
