in at 5lbs. 4oz. and I believe 19 in. long. (I guess she needed to be born on gramma & grampa's anniv.).

I am so thrilled for you. Having Granddaughters has to be the most fantastic thing our kids can give us, right alongside having Grandsons of course.

Thanks - she looks so tiny - but she is my GREAT GD and my daughter & hubby anniversary.

Both of my kids were born super early, as was I and my mother. We all, obviously, survived. I hope your new baby granddaughter just thrives. She must have been in a hurry to get started on "the outside". :) Congratulations.

thank you - that's what I had said "in a hurry". But she is my GREAT (how I like the sound of that - she is great!) granddaughter.

Congrats, in our family all the girls want to come early, we had one at 4lbs 1oz and the other was 4lbs 6oz both are doing great one is 9 years old and the other is almost 5years old.

oops! sorry - forgot to mention that yes they had a name picked out (they had that picked out right away - as soon as they found out she was preg they settled on a girls and a boys name). I posted it after I got back from the hosp. It's Laihla Sheila Michelle.
