I am glad you were able to get a job so quickly. In your line of work there is always a demand for help. Hopefully you will find time to fill your embroidery orders as well.

I hope you have so much productive and rewarding work that you have no time to worry! No too much to cause stress though. Kay
Life presents it's challenges, for sure. Congrats on the new job. Hope it's well paid and not too hard -and that you have enough enthusiasm left for embroidery in between shifts :)
Have faith in what ever you do! A lot of us are making ends meat by doing two jobs and also caring for the houshold and children... Congratulations on your appointment & enjoy the embroidery work!

Yep that is the way it often happens. Hope it will not stress you out.
Congratulations on the new job. Sometimes life gives us conflicting directions. It seems to be feast or famine. I too finally got a job after 15 months of unemployment. Today was my first day but when I got to there the street was lined with police and fire equipment. When I was able to get in I found that it was my new employer that had a fire this morning. I have a job but no place to work. Hopefully by next week some time they should have things cleaned up or moved to a temporary location. We will just have to see what happens.
Ohmygoodness, not a great start! I sure hope it's worth the delay when you eventually start this new job and you enjoy it.
Not the best first day!!! What do you do tomorrow or do you wait until next week?
Wow. what an interesting start to your new job. I hope they get it cleaned up soon.
So as not to bump this post to the top again, I am going to say a really big thank you for all of your well wishes. I really am very happy with the way things are going. I am only working a couple of days a week and will still have plenty of time for embroidery. Life is indeed looking very good for me at the moment, and I am so happy.
Very strange, one question did you enjoy your shift? If you are doing casual could you possible combine both nursing and embroidery. I still work full time and that is not much fun, as I only have weekends and nights to embroider but keeps me busy and out of trouble lol. Hugs Sally
