After much soul searching I've sold my Janome MC9700 to a friend and splashed out on a MC11000SE.
I love having the 20cm square hoop and so many other features that my other machine didn't have. I've spent a couple of afternoons making friends with it and everything has gone very smoothly. I just have to see if it will talk to my laptop and I think I have most things sussed.My friend is thrilled with my old machine and I have instructed her to become a Cutie forthwith!

46919Congratulations, Sweat! You did an excellent change. I have for janome MC9700 (use only for sewing) and MC300E,MC11000 is to only for embroider. I like a lot of Janome. It is a good mark and easy of use.
I do not yet know how to create my embroideries. I have to buy Embird ( to type ).

10179Congratulation, it is always much to have a new machine more efficient. If the link is not good with your laptop it is not grave, because you have the USB key which are practical also

It talks quite nicely to my laptop, but I don't get any thumbnails of the designs. I think I prefer to use the USB stick!

13907Congrats, now you got me going I need to sell my Baby Lock Esante II, since I got my new machine a few months ago I have had a learning curve, but it is wonderful. Just got to get motivated, now that we have placed my MIL in the nursing home. I have just been trying to unwind and get myself back together. Now for sewing. Daughter is moving into an apartment so now I gotta get busy and make things for her new adventure.
