Very nice - we had to do squaredancing in school and I could not get into it. Think I might like it now, just to be active and exercise.
sqdancer, what a lovely skirt - you will be the envy of all the girls. Wonderful work. *4U
How cute! My Grandmother MADE me square dance when I was 16... Oh how I hated it... she thought it was a great idea to get the 3 Grandchildren (we were all 15 annd 16) involved until she realized that we were more interested in the 5 US Marines that joined too. :-) I think I dated one of those darling soldiers until I was 19... Needless to say, square dancing became one of my favorite things to do! :-) LOL... Now that I'm older, I would actually LOVE to take lessons again. The nicest people square dance. xoxo And the exercise is AMAZING! Your skirt definitely is adorable and one of a kind!!!!
I have been doing Modern Square Dancing now for 15 years and just enjoy it so much. My partner had square danced with his wife in the Air Force and my best friend had danced with her ex 20 odd years back but I had only ever done the old barn dance thing when I was a "young-un" ahem some 70 years ago...now don't go telling how old I am!!! Seriously we have a great time and have met so many new friends and travelled to so many great places, went to Hawaai in 1999 for a Convention, one place I had always wanted to visit and just had a wonderfull time. Check out Dosado.com there are clubs listed there all over the world...try it you'll love it I am sure....*4U
Very nice. I assume you square dance. That takes a lot of energy!
What a lovely job you've done. Yes it's definitely an 'exclusive' and I imagine you'll have lots of fun sashaying round the hall in it too. Cheers.
Well, it goes without saying...YOU are one of a kind, too! That is really cute!;)
