I had some built in x stitch on my machine, lovely mice in letters. One of the sayings was I Love to Sew, or individual letters. Great sewn out.

I did use the recommended bobbin thread, if it shows white adjust you tensions top or bottom.

just a tip: If you use the same thread in bobbin as on top, cross stitch looks almost like handwork.

I just did my first cross stitch design on a bookmark and love it. It is so pretty. My favorite craft, before machine emb, was counted cross stitch. So I really appreciate the machine emb version. I will try to add a link for free xstitch bookmarks.

I've done a few & they turn out just like reg cross stitch but as joanie says snip those threads between colors. At 1st I thought I had to have c.s. plug in or SW on my cp & skipped all CS designs. But live now I know better *4U

I have and I love them. Only one thing though, you should always snip threads between color changes and when one color moves and starts up again at another spot. Enjoy and would love to see a project soon from you. *4U ><>

mad14kt, I haven't posting any - but it is a great process on your embroidery machine. *4U

There are several older postings, towels with cross stitch initials with flowers. They were lovely. And Gunsann posted a portrait of her parents in an oval frame, which she digitized herself. That was beautiful. Do you want to use existing designs or want to digitize yourself. For the former you'll find some references in the bookmarks.
