Cuties - learn from me - do not, repeat, do not decide to rush things, take your eye off of bobbin winding, and then create a mess - It took me nearly 30 min to clear the thread jam from machine!

I know how that is; never leave your working-machine alone, he/she will notice it and makes you regret it.

Seems to happen to us all sometime or other. I really hate leaving the room while stitching out a design. So, I try to plan things that can be done in the same place to keep an eye out. SORRY :(

Happens to most of us once. Just when we think nothing ever happens when I leave the room ... precisely. Hope you have a better day tomorrow and a lovely vacation.

oh no, sew sorry to hear that. Is this from your sew mach or a bobbin winder? I use my sew/emb mach and I can't leave mine. Well, I could, but I choose not to. It will wind the bobbin a little off center if I don't sit there and help it thru a bit. *4U ><>

I remember doing the same thing & when I called my daughter to tell her she laughed at me & said "only u mom" now I'm glad to know it isn't only me. You're right it took about 30+ mins & the loss of an entire bobbin of thread alon with a lot of the spool. I let the bobbin & thread spool tangle together *4U

So sorry you you had a mess. They tell us (manufacturers) never to leave the room when the machine is on. I know we are all guilty of doing three (or more) things at once. It usually comes back to haunt us. **********4U

Loretta - have just had so much to try to get done - leaving for vacation Friday, and you know how last minute things have to be done. *** to you

lorettag28 by lorettag28 30 Apr 2008

Beth, you are not the only person going, are you? Slow done, it will either get done or it will not. You take care of yourself, where are you going on vacation?

Dionna so sorry about your trouble. I just bought a Side winder ( it can be used with electricity or batteries. ) Really nice . Made by Wright ( cost about 29.98 ) and you can wind bobbin while you are stitching. Available at Michaels, Hobby Lobby( both of which have 40% coupons ) or even Hancocks. A flower for you .
