This is sooo beautiful. I love everything about it.
You like Japanese Garden and Garden Dreams how about, " Japanese Garden Dreams" or Japan Garden Get Away?
Monika, just beautiful. I love all the suggestions re the Japanese Garden theme. Congratulations on putting it all together. Love Chris
marjialexa ,I made up the pattern myself.I had a pack of 100 rectangles , not all quite the same size.So I cut them all to 6" x 10", the sewed the top 3 together.I then sewed one full and enough of the second to complete the right length.
Windows onto a Japanese Garden? Whatever, this is just gorgeous!! Ok, please explain to us USA gals, for whom a "charm" is a 5x5 square, what sie are the fabric pieces in each block? You said the pack of blocks was 6x10, and you didn't want to cut into them. Sooo...my math wizardry hat is out to the cleaners--I see 3 strips in each square that look like they could be 3 1/2x7, then two differently odd sized blocks on the bottom of each squre? What is the finished size of the blocks? This is just lovely, where did you get the pattern? Could you tell I like it? hee hee hee I really like the way it shows off the fabrics, and the contrast of the black really defines each fabric and makes it "pop". Good on you! Hugs, Marji
I have been given some great ideas for the namimg of my quilt ,with all the garden suggestions,I am thinking of Japanese Garden, because they are Japanese fabrics, what do you think
I'd call it 'Summer Dawn'. It looks like that time just before the sun rises from the horizon, when it lights up the night sky with a myriad of pink hues, with a promise of a hot Aussie summer day ahead.
I love this quilt. I think you've done a brilliant job with the charm blocks, breaking the monotony with the smaller blocks in between the larger ones. Also I think the use of different width sashing is a great idea - and black is a perfect foil for all that wonderful colour.
Well done and congratulations!! If there is to be any prize I hope you win - a lot of thought has gone into the creation of this lovely quilt.

They may have something with garden. Looks like nice neat rows of vegetables or flowers.
Very nice, dreamy, how about "Garden Dreams"....
Have fun at the show!

Very pretty! I like the way you went from dark down to light. How about something along the Night and Day theme?
This reminds me of a church window...and think I would name it Looking out Gods Window.
I love the gradient color scheme. Its beautiful and certainly charming, but it reminds me of a 'stained glass garden.'
"Windows" that what would call it !!What do you see when you look in this window???hugs carolyn
I WILL HAVE TO THINK ON THIS ONE BUT I THINK YOUR QUILT IS GEORGOUS.............SOOZIE
