I am sure she will love it! What kind of mylar did you use? Where can I get it from?
Bonnie
I bought mine at JoAnn Fabrics (USA). It was Easter gift wrap on Clearance so an entire roll only cost me $.75.
very nice, im sure she will wear them over and over
Thank you. Her birthday is near Thanksgiving (US) and I don't think I can't wait that long so see if she likes and if the mylar stays put. Grandma is getting anxious to sent it to England. :)
Very nice. GD must love it
Thank you. GD doesn't have it yet but I have sent a picture to her mother and she has given me several "special occasion" dates so I can send before November. :) LIke World Fashion Day, Denim day etc.
Very nice work. Dragonflies on their own are usually beautifully but the mylar certainly makes them "sparkle". Lovely.
Thank you. That is what I thought too. Even if the mylar doesn't last through the washings she will still have beautiful dragonflies.
wow, interested to see how the mylar stands up to the washings, that is a very sweet outfit.
Thank you. I don't think I can wait for either her birthday or Christmas. I think I will have to send early. I am anxious to see how she likes it and to see if the mylar lasts through the laundry. :)
Becky, what a sweet outfit - I hope they withstand the washing & wear - let us know.
This will either be birthday (Nov) or Christmas if Grandma can wait that long :) But I will update how the mylar withstands the washings. Thanks.
wow right now they look excellent let us know in a month how they look hugs carolyn
Thank you. I think the shirt will be okay because the stitches are far enough apart but the smaller design on the jeans may lose the mylar. But the design itself is pretty cute so if the wings lose their shimmer she will still have the colorful dragonflies. :)
