Your FSL Sunbonnet Angels turned out so pretty.
Is this the right link for the set of the Sunbonnet
Angels.
Libi also sells them as individual designs too so you have the choice of the set or just one or 2 of the sunbonnets.
Thanks for sharing your project with us.

YES!! Thank you so much for posting the link for everyone. I just tried and tried and couldn't get it to work.
Thanks so much for your sweet comment and your welcome!
I'm still debating on whether to buy the set or individual.
I am in love with FSL and sunbonnets also. Love your colors.
Thanks so much! I love FSL and it's about all I stitch these days. I'm addicted and may soon need therapy of some sort! LOL
These are just gorgeous Maryann I love Sunbonnets too. Thank you for telling your beautiful story about your Grandmother and her quilt.
With regard to your Grandmother's quilt top what I'd do is look for some "antique" looking fabric from around that era. Are you going to be cutting the quilt into pieces for different family members? If so, then it depends on how big the squares/rectangles/oblong shapes are. I would put a couple of borders around them in corresponding fabric to match the quilt fabric. I normally would put a 1" border, then a 2" border etc. I hope this is the sort of thing you are wanting to do. Anyway, good luck with it all and I am sure it will turn out beautifully. Love and blessings Chris
P.S. Will you be including one of these angels in the quilt as well, as they would be a wonderful addition to your Grandmother's quilt? Something new onto something old.
Thanks a zillion and I'm so happy to see another lover of Sunbonnets!! And yes the quilt will be cut into pieces for each family member. I'm hoping there will be enough for everyone to have Sam and Sue that are both on Granny's quilt top. I want to frame them is archival frames so they can be handed down from generation to generation.
I probably won't include one of these particular angels with the gifts. I have several FSL Sets and am going to try to match the 'gift' angel as close as I can to the ones Granny stitched. They are really the simple Sam and Sue similar to the ones I shard in projects other day from The Country Needle Wedding Sunbonnet Set.
I sure hope to get this done in time for Christmas!!
I so sorry, the link I posted for Libis site is not correct.

Hugs!
I want to make this too! I love sunbonnets! Looks wonderful! I love the varigated interior!
Thanks a zillion!! I hope you will make it and share your version with us. That makes it such fun to see how others put their touch on the same design.
very very nice.......I love Sunbonnets !!!!
Thank you so much!! I have a couple of applique books of just sunbonnets, that I hope to try before long. Only thing is it's regular cutting and sewing. Sure wish they were all ITH for embroidery machines.
love the sunbonnets as they all are very unique....
They are going to look so nice on your quilt. Just don't ask me to pick my favorite one. lol
These aren't for a quilt. The quilt top my Granny pieced many years ago has me hooked on Sunbonnets.
I can't pick a favorite either. I usually make a bunch and let my Mama choose her favorites then I take what's left for my baggie in my purse to give to others when I'm out and about and someone needs a smile.
Mary Ann, these are lovely and I like the different ways that they look - with the threads that you have used - thanks for the design info and the story of your Granny's quilt - hope you can find some info to get those blocks framed properly.
Thank you so much!! It sure was fun to play with thread just to see the different effects. I'm happy you like the story of Granny's quilt top. I sure hope I can find someone to help me make family keepsakes from it.
Next trip to Michaels I plan on taking it just to see if their framing department can help. If so, I can use my 60% off coupon.
They are beautiful. Love them too. You did a great job on them.
Thanks so much. It's been interesting to see that so many cuties love sunbonnets, too!
great work love all the colors
Holy Cow! You're fast! LOL I was just checking to see if I uploaded the picture correctly.
Thanks so much for your kind comment and looking!
