Sign up for Julie's newsletter, and in addition to a hilarious telling of her life's ups and downs, there is a free font week by week. Than, on that newsletter, is a link to her free designs where you will find an alphabet (it's digitized, so it's no longer a font) that is just what you want. Along with a great Rt 66 sign to go with it.
She calls it Hood Emblem Alphabet.

Thats it!!! Thanks I already get the newsletter but couldnt remember how to get to that page Thank you for you help .
Good! I think that's the only way to get to her freebies now. I did look over her web page first, just knew it was somewhere.
I believe the font you are looking for is called FIFTIES
There are many similar, Trekker two, Gallante, Harlowe Solid. But Fifties is the best one.
Scroll down the page to find it.
Hugs n roses, Meganne
Are you referring to the 1950's font that is all streamlined together? Sorta kinda like the "hood ornament font" on the attached page? If you can figure out the name of it, I can probably figure out where it came from. I have a couple hundred fonts, and try to keep track of where I got them. Good luck.
yes it is like a hood ornament but I too can't remember the name of it sorry .
