What pretty flowers ! How have you the relief ? Do you embroider first petals of the bottom ,and then embroider the other and sew them the one on the other ?
What means FSL ?

FSL means Free Standing Lace Claudenicolas
Outer and inner petals are embroidered individually, the green centre incorporated with the inner petals - just change thread colour. Relief is also by changing colour thread. Sew or glue together and glue pin on the reverse.

Where did these lovely designs come from? I have to have them!!!! I have a cute hat I could attach the sunflower-looking one to. How big are they? Very nice Jean.

Secrets of Embroidery Lace Flowers these are from set 1. Today set 2 is for purchase and you can buy with a 50% discount - a good time to buy. A hat would look wonderful with them attached. The size varies - largest 7cms diam. but, of course, they can be resized, up to 20% bigger or 10% smaller, using your machine software.

You are quite right Ibrow I think another row of the larger petals added would be ideal for a poinsettia & with enough patience they would make lovely decoration for Christmas tables. Thank you.
