A wonderful present. I am sure your GD will treasure it. My GD is coming up for 3 yrs - cannot wait for her to start sewing!!!!
Thanks - that time will come faster than you think. It seems just yest. my GD had just arrived and now it's 11 yrs. later!!
That is one lucky young lady to have you as her grandmother. Can't wait for you to post her first projects.
Thanks. It will take a lot of patience with her as she gives up easily sometimes if things don't go fast enough. I'm only going to have her go real slow and do play things (like practice different stitches on a piece of material) so she can see what it looks like.
What a great starter machine. Here's to many happy hours of sewing together.
You are a super grandmother - what a special thing for you to do for your GD - she will treasure that. In the future - don't tell her what you spent - even if you want to let her know you got a deal - the kids these days - sometimes value their gifts - by what is paid for them - be careful with that. You made a great deal and I am thrilled for the two of you.
Thanks. She doesn't know what I spent on it - only that I finally found one after looking for almost a year in different places and garage sales. but to her it doesn't matter where I got it as she knows I wouldn't settle for just any machine for her. Thank goodness (so far) my kids and grandkids all value what I do and make for them more than if I bought them something or spent a lot on them.
The next generation. Isn't a great feeling to know you're passing on a wonderful craft and skill. I know she'll have fond memories of this machine. Glad you got a great deal.
You did good and got it for a great price. i know your granddaughter must be very happy!
I wish you had posted a photo of her machine. I think that it is good she's interested. Best wishes, to you both, and Happy (late)Birthday Kaitlin-Toogie
Thanks. I was going to but haven't figured out how to u/l from my new phone. Haven't been able to figure it out yet. Will add post when I do. Going down to phone ctre shortly and will find out.
Usually - you have to have a little chip in your phone and a USB attachment - the chip goes in your USB and then you put it into your PC - upload to your photo program.
no this one is different - my old one was like that. This one has a usb cable from phone to pc, but for some reason it won't recognize it.
Lucky Kaitlin, I hope she has many happy years of sewing ahead of her and a grandmother to help
