Very Nice. Hmm I think I may have to use this idea. thanks
It is a beautiful picture and appears to be a very lovely house. *4U
Juanita, thanks it was a really old house, by the time it was sold, poor old thing had seen better days
This looks lovely & will be a great keepsake. Sadly I don't have any photos of the house where I grew up...only 1 of part of the front when I got married.
The first house where we were till I was 6 is now a "bra outlet" and being only young never had any photos till this one. It means a lot to Robyn as she was born here as well as the other brother.
What a wonderful idea. You will be the favourite sister now. It is amazing.
Need I say that I am her Favourite sister and she is mine. We get on so well together But things had gone down the gurgler for a number of years now we are so close again.
Fabulous job! You should really be proud. It is excellent!
it is a very touching story and good on you your sister will love and cherish it..............soozie
What a creative mind you have. This will be a great gift and cherished forever.
Thank you Joanne. Had this idea a few years ago and glad now that it's completed and turned out well. I could still have done more to it but I was rushing against time. Left things to the last minute
You have done a great job. What a special thing to do. It looks realistic.
Roslyn, what a special gift - you have done a wonderful job with this.
Thanks Shirlene. I was going to do one for me. I've just been thinking I might do one of the MIL place and give to the SIL Still thinking on that idea
This is very nice, and I bet it will be something special for your sister. I hope you have one for yourself, too,
I was going to, But I forgot as I was trying to get things done for Robyn, but yes I will done one for me too
this is very nice and the embroidered flowers just gives it the dimension it needs.....great job....
Thank you. The tree to the right of the front door was a "camelia" tree and was always loaded with flowers. and to the left was "hydrangas" in bluey/purple
this is very nice and the embroidered flowers just gives it the dimension it needs.....great job....
love it !!That must of been a lovely house in its day and sure had loads of fun their!!Carolyn
It was an old house and there were 5 of us children so where did we sleep? as it had only 2 bedrooms and the "outhouse ". at the back. Yes we did have great times we were poor but always had food on the table.
This very nice memory of you and your sister to shear what beautiful little house Well done job. Maria
Thank you Maria. As you can see the house was really getty past it when this photo was taken. We think the house was built in the lat 1800's but not too sure
What a beautiful house you grew up in. Wonferful momento for your sister.
Amazing idea and adding the flowers gave it a nice effect.
I was going to give this to Robyn for her Housewarming a few years ago and din't get around to making it then. BUT now that she has moved interstate it will be well received I think
That is so cool. I am sure your sister will love how you have perserved the memory of your childhood home. Love the mixed media!
Very creative multimedia crafting and a beautiful
sentiment.
This was a wonderful idea and so it will be a beautiful reminder of your house in the old days!
