Don't worry it happens to us all at times I'm sure. I would just start to worry if I was on the stairs then stopped & wonderd if I should be going up or down...lol
Well, I need to be included in the "Brain Overload" club too. It just gets worse as time goes by and some days it is really a pain. My hubby and I find things in places that we don't even remember putting them. He is a year younger than me so I'm a year up on him in doing these crazy things. LOL. Just keep hanging with people your own age and you won't stick out like a sore thumb. Hugs, Judy
Bev, this happens to me all the time and as my kitchen is upstairs it can be a real pain. My best is going into a room and then not remembering what I went in there for. Sarah.
I see now that I am not the only one to do this.....thank goodness other Cuties do this too.
Oh honey, you have the virus too, the C-nile virus that is....hahahahahaha
Well at least you don't have 25 stairs to climb like me or do you???hugs carolyn
No stairs, i was wondering if maybe I drank the coffee while in the kitchen that is why I did not bring it back with me. lol. If i did the 2nd cup was good too!
The embarassing part is after a few days I find the cup I had forgotten about with some strange stuff growing on it. I too have stairs and sometimes have days I don't go upstairs to my craft room.
Isn't this normal? I was just looking for the scissors I knew I had brought in to cut the fabric. They were patiently waiting for me where I had put them down. Good to know there are others in the Forgot fill in the blank, again Club.
That's why we need more than 1 pair. I always find what I was looking for after I no longer need it.
Don't worry, Bev!! It's not Alzheimers beginning! It's called "Brain Overload"! LOL I often go from one end of the house to the other, and by the time I have gotten there, I've completely forgotten what I went to get!! My mind stays on fast forward! LOL
Angel
I'm glad I'm not the only one. Have you ever gone to the store for a certain item and when you get home you realize you bought everything but what you went for?
My husband had just returned from helping friends who had locked themselves out. The husband left his keys in the front door when he went away, the son removed them and never mentioned it. Everyone with keys was 100's of miles away, so I collected the couple from the train and my husband took them and some ladders to get in through the second floor window. All of us do these daft things from time to time, you were lucky it was only a cup of coffee you forgot
Been there. I've even gone to the kitchen not remembering why I came there, had to go back and remembered as soon as I got into the sewing room. Old age creeping up on me, or just my mind being to occupied with the sewing/digitising/ etc. I hope the latter :).
Let's just call it "Brain Overload" . Sounds so much better than old age creeping up on us.
I've done that a few times (except not coffee as I don't drink it).
