it has all been ssaid but welcome to our cute family.....soozie in australia
You have your answers - Welcome to Cute. My name is Sarah and I live in South Africa.
I like very giving flowers. For me, they mean : fondness, hey, saw you around here, friendship. ... Etc.
Be well coming!
Welcome "Kennedy" I see you have been given the answer. I just wanted to give you a big Aussie welcome. Where are you from? What is your name etc. etc. etc. What type of sewing machine do you own?
Love and blessings Chris
P.S. By the way, I give flowers to everyone who answers a post and every project I look at.
Thanks for the welcome, I am from Nova Scoita, Canada. I have a Brother HE 240 (4X4) my first embroidery machine.
The interesting thing I've found about the flowers IS: You may not have very many, but you can GIVE as many as you would like. They mean hello, or I looked at your design, or thank you, or I was here or what ever works for the occasion. Notice that, when you start visiting or discussing or sharing designs, etc., your flower "garden" will grow quickly. :) Welcome to the kindest place on the internet!! There are a bunch of really super people here!!! And here is another flower for you. :)
In the sorting column you can pick how to organize the posts you read. If you click the flower you will see the posts with most flowers first. That simply means that the post's flower has been clicked on the most times.
You could also sort by time (the first symbol of a clock) that is what it usually defaults to. This will show you the post that has the most recent reply in it not the most recently posted post. Comments don't count as replies. Replies move the post to the top of the line. A comment on a reply will move the reply to the top within that post. I hope that makes sense. (And that works differently in the private message section. See the tutorial link on the left of the page for that information.)
he 3rd symbol is to sort by the post that has the most replies.
Thank You for your explanation of the "flowers" I am from Nova Scotia, Canada, and I love this site, great freebees and wonderful advise.
p.s. please remember to give these lovely flowers to hugs carolyn
Welcome to Cuties! You will find the nicest, most helpful and caring people here from all around the world. We LOVE machine embroidery! I'm one of the critter lovers! Mostly cats, also birds, but really anything with fur, fins or feathers! What is it that makes you purrrrr? Have you done machine embroidery long? Hugs, Jan, aka hightechgrammy
Consider them hugs from us to you. You give them by clicking on the flower across from someone's name.
Welcome to the Cute Family, I'm sure you will enjoy it here.
It's really just a means of telling how many times you visit this site. But other people will 'give' you a flower for a good question, or answer. Just as you can give a flower to say that you have read some of the Posts. Nice way to say 'hello' and 'thankyou' too.
