yes a great idea what is their nam and where they come from etc you get more of the picture then well said i hope this get a resounding result and everyone will "put us in the picture" i am afraid i will break the camera ....soozie
I like this. Does make it easier to find and make friends to remember. Thanks for the idea. DeVon
I love seeing a picture I can associate to the person. It draws the eyes to someone familiar to you instead of trying to sort of the cookie cutter avatars we start with. It doesn't have to be of you, it can be your personality or interests making it fun and giving us a clue as to who you are inside.
This is something I have been meaning to do. Perhaps I can find a 20-year-old photo which doesn't embarrass me too badly.
I use a hat I made as that's one of my hobbies, and it stands out nicely, which a picture of me wouldn't.
Avatars do make you think. They are representative to how someone sees themselves. Just as Basketcase... love ya! As soon as I find one... you'll know. Any ideas where to look?
I meant butterhex. I can put up the best pic of my life, it was taken 30 years ago. otherwise I need to find a stand in!
30 years ago is fine! No one on here has a clue what I actually look like!
Agree with you and thank you that you posted that you changed your avatar. I often just look at the pics and not on the name ;o)
Another thing that I noticed: It would be nice to have a name under the post or comments (not the full name, just the first name or a nickname). I don't like to write: "Hello hightechgrammy..." (sorry need just an example and I will put some topping on the cake additional to the sugar ;o) when I reply.
Greetings, Bettina
I agree Bettina-with the name-that's why sometimes I will go back on someones old post to see if their name is mentioned-it just seems so much friendlier than using screen names & I too, look for peoples familiar avatars-real or images. ~linda~
I also agree with Bettina and Linda. Having a name is important. Also helps if you need to e-mail someone and all you have is a screen name. Would also love to know where everyone is from-not in the post, but in their profile. Have been able to meet several other Cuties that way who also come from my home state of Michigan.

I agree - the picture doesn't have to be you, sp long as it gives a clue to your identity and style!
Put mine up today! Was about time, I know! Thanks for the reminder and hope to see more "faces" appear soon!

Ditto 4 me. & I especially enjoy the updates or changes as they let us "see" a bit more of our cutie's families, pets, flowers, or creativity/ingenuity, etc.
And i second that plus remember to give flowers we all loveeeeeeeeeeee them:):) hugs all carolyn
