one of my projects did the same around the little bear. Cuties could this be because of a tight tension? Just a thought.

Sorry about the puckering but it still looks pretty. Love the design.
Even with the puckering it still looks awesome! You'll get it.
This is still nice, but I know u r dissappointed. What design is this, from where? It is a beautiful design-Toogie
This design is from Emb. Lib. I washed the material, ironed it... sprayed a med weight stabilizer - stuck the material to it..waited for it to dry completely, floated another piece of the same stabilizer under the hoop and it sewed out just fine. Will post a picture of it's twin....PEACE with the wise men in the C..... later.
Beautiful design. If you are going to frame the design I have had good luck ironing on a stiff interfacing.
This is for a pillow. The green material is much prettier than it shows here.. I plan to put a white braid around the edges with a gold fringe.
I don't plan to finish the pillows for a couple of weeks.... will post the finishe project when they are done....

It just seems to be in the one place. It looks lovely but I know that you would like it without the puckers.
Don't give up - I am sure you will get it right.
GOT IT! -- Thanks..... You can read below what I finally did that worked!
Time to get away from the Emb. machine for a bit..... (big sigh/rolling eyes **)

Is that a knit fabric?
This is a tightly woven bottom weight material, very crisp, and the reason I have now washed it and trying again.

I think I have that design too. The beauty of it makes up for the puckering! I notice when I use cut-away on dense designs now. I get no puckering *2U
Well it looks great even with the puckers but i know they are a big pain hugs carolyn
Lovely! I know that you are frustrated with the puckering, but it doesn't look too bad. I really love the concept of the design.
