Well Done!!! You always lose fluid the first week that is why those ads can say 'they'll give you the product for free if you don't lose X amount in the first week'.
Don't lose heart, it took a long time to gain it and it will take a long time to lose it.
I am gaining weight but losing inches.
I have recently discovered that Ice cream and chocolate are no longer giving me really bad migraines, just niggly headaches.
Niggly headaches I can put up with after years of not being able to eat anything sweet. :-)))))]
First day of Spring tomorrow so tonight will be my last indulgence. :-(
You are inspiring! I guess I'll walk the dog now... all I want to do is stitch, stitch, stitch. christine Live, Laugh, Download, Stitch! There is no excercise in there.
way to go :):)i am starting again on Sept the first ,going back to our little weight club i need to walk more which is what helps me the most hugs and keep going !!!carolyn
You are doing better then me. I have not worked out for about a month now and my eating is geting out of control. Keep it up you will get there.
The key to exercise is to find something you enjoy so it doesn't seem like work. I've loved to bike ride all my life, just not sure what I'll do this winter whewn the snow flies, lol!
Don't give up!
Mike and I managed to lose about 25 pounds each 3 years ago. My hints:
1.Eat less - is the only real answer!
2.Cook less.
3.Smaller plates so you eat less.
4.No nibbling between meals.
5.No chocoalte or biscuits until you reach your target (that was tough!)
6.More exercise. (All we do is walk the dog - no gym etc!)
We have managed to keep the weight off since we relaxed the rules!
I have had a piece or two of chocolate. I'm trying to take the word "die" out of diet so I can stick to it. I also refuse to kick myself up and down the block for having something I shouldn't and than pigging out because I ruined my diet. I figure I am only human, so I will make mistakes, but I can forgive myself. I have one day that I eat what I want in moderation so I don't ruin all the progress I've made during the week. Its helped me to stick with it because I don't feel so deprived.
Congratulations on your success Sue! I hope to follow in your footsteps, and look forward to the new clothes, lol! I've gotten rid of the jeans that have gotten to big sinse I started. Down one jean size, a few more to go!! :D
You are doing well, I am also trying lol. At a standstill at the moment, but that always seems to happen. Press on and we will be slim lol.
Even if your weight is not moving, check your measurements, and not just the waist, hips and bust. Check across your belly button, under your bust, your thighs, and calves and your arms. It helps keep you motivated when you see some movement in inches when the weight freezes up, lol! That means you are bulding muscle that is replacing the fat, and thats why your weight is not changing but your clothes are getting looser. You CAN do it!!!! We shall be thinner together! :D
