You got an absolute bargain. My very first sewing machine was a Brother - not quite as fancy as yours but I loved it. May your GD have many happy hours sewing.
Thanks. I think it's going to give her lots of happy sewing time. I had been hoping to find one with a little bit of what this one has and figured I'd have to pay more as it would probably be newer. But I really like this and it sews really good and is quiet!
She'll love this little Brother sewing machine and maybe she'll get the inclination to graduate to embroidery and join us someday, eh?
She really likes it, but has a lot to learn. I insist she learns all the things it can do and how to do everything properly. Also, have to get her own spot set up in my sewing room - but have to shift stuff around, etc. first. Time!
Very nice machine. I am sure your GD will love it. Hugs, Mary
Just think of the fun you two will have together!!~
She's a lucky girl to have a grandma like you as well as her lovely new machine. I don't know Brother machines well - never used one - but I've seen them at sewing class and this one looks a real beauty.
AlmaG.
Thanks. This is the first brother I've used. It has a lot of the features my Janome Memory 7 had.
Wow, nice machine. I have 3 Brother machines and love them. They are real work horses.
It looks perfect and the price was more than reasonable.
You got an awesome deal, even if you have to have service on it. Good call!! I Hope she enjoys!!!
Thanks. It seems to be working just fine. I did a test run on some things - have a few other things I want to see how it sews on.
What a great deal! Now its time for you and your grandaughter to enjoy stitching.
I actually started the initial learning (what things are for and what they do, etc.) on my machine a couple weeks ago as I figured I'd never find what I wanted!
YOU did good if is working for $20 Enjoy
Thanks. It runs nice and smooth. I spelt her name with it and used a couple nbrs. So far, so good!
What a great buy, yes one lucky grand daughter, thanks for posting the pictures
Wow! Looks GREAT! How old is she - she is not the one in your avatar? ey? Live, Laugh, Download, Stitch! christine
Thanks. No, those are my two youngest grandchildren. This one is my oldest granddaughter - just turned 11.
What do you think?
For, did you say $20.? I'd say you almost stole it! Great find, good luck with it and hope gd has much enjoyment from it._Toogie
yup! $20 - she was asking $30. It is over 30 yrs. old and works beautiful. The lady really looked after it - it was her baby.
You have to answer your own question and UPLOAD IMAGE - good luck. Love Chris
Thanks. I was just slow getting it uploaded as I couldn't find it at first and then it seemed to take forever, but I got it. Thanks for coming back and having a look.
