Has anyone used or know of the "Miracle Stitcher"? I found one at a garage sale the other day for $1 and a book for it for $1. Will post pic. of it.

A little bit about the use of..Janome has the icing on the cake with it's miracle stitch foot which allows you to couch on yarn like you are sewing it like thread. What a great way to paint a picture and an alternative to embroidery. They make this foot for the high shank like this machine and the low shank foot.

Wow, looks like you found some good stuff at the garage sale! I don't know what a "Miracle Stitcher" is though.

Thanks. I didn't either until I saw this and I opened the box at the garage sale and it said it was embroidery with yarn, so I figured for a $1 I couldn't lose.

I've never seen nor heard of it but it looks really interesting.

It is a roll of line art designs, right? You can use them as "templates" for quilting designs. Some people have laser pointers beside their machine, so they can use it to trace over the designs. Others just stitch on the paper and then tear the paper off once they are done. It gives a direction for quilting. Are you a quilter?

Thanks. No it is for embroidery with yarn. Although I have done a few quilts over the years. Nothing fancy.

I thought so - that's why I figured I'd take a chance on it for the price.
