Glad you are all ok and you have power restored. Must have been tough for the last few days. Hugs Sally
cant imagine what it would be like so glad it was only the food that was lost,,,,,,,,,,............soozie australia
Suzanne, I'm so glad to "see" you back. I hope all is well with you.
Having been through a few hurricanes myself it is always good to hear that everyone came through okay and you were pretty lucky that there was such a small property loss.
Good news to hear you made it through the storm. You probably have great appreciation for your electricity to be back on and that it wasn't winter.
Great that you are all well and safe. Sorry about the tree - they are so beautiful when they are that old, but, on the other hand, rather the tree than other things that can happen. I have never lived through one of these or a cyclone and just go cold when I see what they can do. Frightening !!!
We have been through many and are prepared as possible but mother nature is powerful. I am glad nothing happened to the cars or house! The rest you can deal with.Thank you! Suzanne
So glad to have you back and safe. Too bad about the old tree. You can replant but can't replace something like that.
My grandmother planted it in 1908. Well that is how it goes. i will miss the tree but will have to plant something else. Thank you! Suzanne
Suzanne, I'm so very glad to hear from you that no one was injured, but sorry about your old, old tree. Glad you are Back - safe and sound! Jan
Glad you got your power back. We were 3 days and it seemed like a lot longer. My son lost 2 cars, 2 motorcycles, 3 four wheelers and a riding lawnmower for the worst of it.
Sorry to hear that. It was a long 5 days not being able to be here and embroidering. Suzanne
Suzanne, another prayer answered. So happy you are back - it had to be a difficult time - it is sad - when the trees are lost like that - so happy to hear that no one was hurt and you managed.
Thank you! Yes I am sad that tree is going to be cut down but we are going to plant another. New life... I am glad no one was hurt and no damage to anyones property but mine. Suzanne
It's so good to know you are home again and OK.
AlmaG.
So glad that you came through Irene safe and sound!!
I am so glad that nothing worse had happened. Nice to see you back. Isn't it amazing how dependent we are on electricity? My sister in Connecticut lost all the food in fridge and freezer also but that is so little compared to the destruction from the floods in other places.
So true! I am gald we are all OK. It is amazing how we come to depend on things. Thank you! I am with your sis. I lost both too. Well got to start over again. Suzanne
Glad that you are okay. Happy that you are back with us. DeVon
Great News - I know what being without the power is like. 2005 we were hit with 3 back to back hurricanes in 6 weeks. On the first one we were without power for 9 days, and it was terrible hot down here. We too lost all the food in fridge and freezers. We lost 30 of our beautiful oaks. But, the main thing is - you are safe. Glad you are back.
it takes getting used to but you manage with no electricity. Sorry you lost your trees. That is not easily replaced, the rest of the things are.Like you said the main thing is we are all safe! Thank you! Suzanne
Wonderful news that you and your family are safe, that is the most important thing of all.
Hugs and blessings, Meganne
So glad to hear you and the family came thru this ordeal! We were all praying for you.Stella
Thank you all so much! I am glad there was no property damage to speak of. Suzanne
