That is a long wait - in the past I waited for a very long time - to get my machine - so in the meantime - plan - orgranize and clean. Enjoy the time that you have free to do a few things - that you will not be able to do - when you get your machine back and you will be working on it nonstop - Hehehe!
Shirlene, Have thrown myself into my Family Tree. Actually came across a distant relation about 20ks from me. He wants to meet and have coffee. Not so sure about that, but we will see. Still miss my machine.
OH Lyn, while you are waiting you can come up and use one of mine in exchange for helping me organise my sewing room, if you'd like. :-)))
I totally and completely understand how unpleasant the waiting is. Now would be a good time to iron all of the fabric you want to digitize, organize the designs on your memory sticks and hurry and get everything done that has been on hold since embroidery came in to your life. You will be amazed at how fast time flies. Good luck with your wait and I hope that it is worth it at the end of that long road. It was for me!!! Do you have your retail store nearby?? Here, I was able to go use a machine in the store if I wanted to; perhaps you can too?? Just a thought....
Have filled my day doing my Family Tree, but the branches are getting out of control.
Hope you get it back soon, I do not like being without mine even if I am not using it. It like something is missing from my life. Hang in there this too shall pass! Hugs Sally
Well my friend you will just half to go do ALL the housework you can find Hay isn't it spring were you live???How about spring cleaning ????Do you do that in your half of the world ???Aren't i very helpful tonight lol big hugs carolyn
Patience is a virtue .... but no-one told me where to get it so I can't help you. Even if I didn't touch my machine for two months I'd hate to be without it.
I am hoping, though, that when you get yours back it runs and hums sweeter than a brand-new machine.
Good luck, Lyn.
AlmaG.
Thanks Alma, If you were still living at Verdun, I would be knocking at your door. Let me in!
Let me in!
Dear Lynn, I do hope they don't take too much longer with it. Is there something else you can put your imaginative mind to? How about gardening?
Spring is in the air here and the air is full of perfumed plants. Our next door neighbour has Jasmine growing over the swimming pool fence and the smell is just great.
As for me I've been picking Freesias, Poppies, Lavender and on the 1st day of Spring my first Daffodil.
I hope all is well with you and yours love Chris
Also love the photo. Washed almost everything I can get my hands on today as it reached 27C and spent most of the day doing Family tree. Had to be close to the phone - just in case.
Hopefully your waiting is almost at a end and you will be reunited with your machine, then we wont see you as you will be so busy using it. AND Congratulations on your 8000 flowers
Thanks for all the flowers. I think as each day passed it is one less I have to wait.
When you are waiting for something even if it is 2 days it is a long time. Glad that you are with us!!! DeVon
Had a little cat visit me the other evening. Gave it some food on the off chance that he had a long journey home. As much as I love cats I don't want another. Have lost too many to snakes and I love the wild birds.
