I have been dumping out tubs of fabric and going through everything. Egads it all started when I misplaced a baby blanket.

Know how you feel, I thought I had lost my dongle a few weeks ago. Called hubby in in desperation who found it hanging on a lead. Oh the relief. Ask someone else to look and hope you find it.

I just hate it when I lose things, and I'm so scatter brained I lose things all the time! But, the best thing to do is to pray. Pray, Dear Lord, please help me find my hoop. Truly, then just sit down and close you eyes, and open up your mind. You may be amazed how it will just pop into your mind where to go put your hand on it. I get upset with myself when I forget to pray for lost things. Put your heart in the right place, ask the Lord, and He will help you. I'll pray for you too. Hugs and understanding about lost things!!! Jan

Get someone else to look for it,often a fresh set of eyes will find a missing item very quickly. Its annoying to find out that it has been right under your nose all the time.

It might help if you pray to St Anthony of Padua, he is the patron saint of lost things. Look him up on Google.

I find this works most of the time.

I pray to St. Anthony all the time, in my mind he is saying,,,"You again?" he comes through for me every time, as long as what I am looking for hasn't been thrown or taken away from my home.

Yes, I find the same thing, though at the moment I have lost two earrings (one of each pair), of great sentimental value, and I am beginning to think I will never see them again because it was during the move.

Still, I have the vacuum bag to empty and go through, wish me luck.

It will turn up but I know that doesn't help you now. Keep looking. Just think of all the other things you will find. Sarah.

OH dear I did the same thing with my Elna hoops and finally found them in my travelling machine caddy bag thingy. Couldn't for the life of me remember putting them in there because I usually hang my hoops on hooks on the wall.

Viking had a pattern for a hoopholder you could make, but for the life of me I cannot find it on their website, it was free for Designer machine owners.

Think....
were you preparing a project and had to leave it????? If so, what project with what fabric????

Or.....

have you just finished a project?????
If so, did you have left-over fabric that you put away..... and just tucked the hoop on top of that fabric????

Neat sewing rooms - they're a danger.

That happens to me a lot. Then I find it hooped on to a large piece of fabric and it is folded inside. That is what happens when I am too tired to be working (like right now). Good luck. You WILL find it. Take a break and think about where you last used it. That will give you a hint where to look next. Hang in there.

Take a deep breath and go have a cup of tea. Come back with a new set of fresh eyes - you may have placed it in a spot that you normally don't. I've done that before and found I'd put it in a cupboard where I don't normally store it. Good luck and have a look through everything in your room - it will turn up. Love and blessings Chris

When was the last time you used it.I'm sure it will turn up soon. I have some of those self stick hooks from 3-M on my wall. That is where my hoops hang when not on use. And no telling what else you may find before the search is over. Good luck

I can relate to this well. The hoop will turn up and when you least expect it. Take yourself off and have a break from searching and do something else for a while then you can return to searching feeling refreshed
