If it's not one thing it's another! What will she be up to next. I'm glad she does not seem to have seriously damaged herself, but this will be painful. Give her an extra hug, very carefully. Take care. Hugs and flowers for you both.
Glad to hear all's okay and that some good has come out of it. It never rains, but it pours!! You and your GM are in my thoughts and prayers.
one of her many adventures i'm sure.My mum had many and one time she used cornflakes in the washing macnine.A great tip for people with elz make a photo album of their youngerdays as that is what they remember most.when mum was in the nursing home she use to pinch otherpeoples false teeth she didn't use them just put them in her bag.She didn't even use her own. Did she say where she was off to.Be it was some where exciting for her... love to you both.
Teri, I just got back on after being gone for a few hours working on a horrible nightmare bag (you know what I'm talking about) Ha!lol. Was so sorry to hear about your GM, but am glad she is okay. I enjoyed our talk so much and have told everyone how much fun it was and exciting for that to have happened. Am looking so forward for the end of the month or first of June. Thanks again so much for your help. They loved, loved the bag. Thanks again. Looking forward to talking to you again real soon. ******4U
So sorry to hear that Teri, but I am happy to hear she now has movement in the one hand again and she will be fine. Keeping you and Queen Esther in my prayers always. *4U ><>
Oh my Teri, my stomach turned when I read this and then I was so grateful to here the ending - it is never easy - when anyone gets hurt - let alone when an elderly person falls down the stairs, my prayers are with you both - God doesn't give us anything that He doesn't give us a way to handle. Peace and love! *4U
How scary! Prayers for a speedy recovery from all of the banging.
Those walkers will do it every time!!! Did you know they're bad for hips too? LOL! (If you lift them awkwardly) I'm glad you all can find some good come out it and that she didn't break any bones. Praise indeed for her healing left hand miracle, though I don't think i'm ready to try it on MIL just yet, i think we'll stick with the gloves to help with the circulation in HER hands. :-}} Love n Roses to you, M
Oh poor you Teri, it just seems to be one thing after another for you worrying about your GM. Unfortunately, old age seems to be like that at times. The home that my beautiful Mum had to live in towards the end had alarms on *every* door, a definite deciding factor for us as Mum had a tendency to wander - especially in the middle of the night, wearing only her nightwear! Hugs and flowers for you sweetie, to your GM too.
awwww sorry to hear your GM had a fall but glad to hear she still has a sense of humuor tell her to think of it as having a couple of rounds with mike tyson (boxer) hehehehe take care hugs and *s 4 u both
Teri, I'm so glad that your GM is OK. I'm sure that it was a shock to see her. These elderly folk bruise so easily, but, surprisingly enough, many are very resilient. That, in its self, reflects the grace of God! My mother did exactly the same thing, but she was in a wheelchair when she went down the stairs. She, also, was pretty banged up. I will pray for GM and for you (and Rosie, too). You certainly are special people!
Miraculous, Teri I'm so glad she's ok & you r ok. I see U r still laughing with her & it's wonderful sh's getting some use back of that limb. Keep looking up dear. we'll keep praying.*4U
Well, God works in mysterious ways. Tell her there are better ways of getting attention. (with her sense of humor, she'll appreciate that!)and for you my dear sweet Teri, Have Faith!;)
My faith is definitely being tested... ;-) Thank you for your prayers my friend. xoxo And I'll pass along your comment. She will get a kick out of it.
She's EXTREMELY banged up, cut up, etc.... I even started crying when I saw her this morning. BUT, I have to share the praise report with all of this... On 3/19, she had a stroke that left her left hand paralyzed... GUESS WHAT!!!! She now has some movement... minimal, but it's something! So the joke now is that if we all had known that falling down the stairs would have caused the left hand to come alive, we would have given her a loving push. She laughs at that idea.... again, those that pray to our LORD, keep "Queen" Esther in your prayers. She and Rosie, my dog, are truly two of the loves of my life! ;-) LOVE YOU GIRLS! XOXO
