Alexgrandma is a cutie that goes way beyond special. She came up to visit a son in this area of the country...and made time to come and see ME. Oh, my. I've had my machine for a year.... and still have uncharted territory. Judy showed me that it WAS safe to go into some of the areas I have feared....

what a remarkable friend. Thanks, Judy. Enjoyed seeing you... and learned a lot.

How wonderful that Judy had the time to visit you Sewbadly. It's always great to catch up with another Cutie. I am lucky in that I have Meganne only 1/2 an hour away and Tubby in the other direction about 40 minutes. Pauline (Nonna57) lives down in the Blue Mountains and I believe there are a couple of Cuties on the Central Coast, but haven't caught up with them. Love Chris

I am glad you were able to meet. There are a lot of cuties that are going out of their ways to be helpful. I love this site.

I am so happy for both your and Judy - that you were able to come together and share with the other. What a special meeting it must have been. I love that she helped with with your fears. Next time - take a picture.

I am so happy for you! I wish there were some Cuties close by to where I live, I seem to work in total isolation and learn very much by guess work and trial and error (LOTS of errors!!!!)

I wish we lived closer... she traveled over 1,200 miles for the visits.

It is great meeting other Cuties face to face. Most of us embroider in isolation and get help here. Each of us is at a different stage of learning so to meet someone who can help by demonstrating something assists us greatly. We forget that embroidery machines are pretty tough and treat them with kid gloves. Lucky you that Akexgrandma has shown you otherwise

Zippers were my bogeyman. I now feel I could approach them with a hefty stick.
