New on my Digitiserpro. The thumbnails are blank, cant figure it out, so I rang the dealer. Apparently I will have to get an upgrade for my program as Windows 7 needs extra instructions.

Not upgrade, update.
You will need to go to the Janome website and download the patch for Windows 7.Either 32bit or 64 bit depending on your computer.
Updates are free.

27382I have the DigitizerPro MB V3-big deal! I am clueless basically. lol It is all installed and ready to go,I just need to sit down and try to figure it all out-just finding the time and going through that thick book is not making me too excited.I am actually thinking of sending for Trevor Conquergood's 240 minute DVD's set to learn from a pro at my own pass-I would much rather "watch" it done than have to read it. I am set up on a laptop-Vista. I also have the Customizer 10000 software already installed-that I can sorta figure out. My machine is probably smaller that what you gals have-mine is the MC9700- it serves me for as much as I get to use it though. ~linda~

LInda I love the digitising program. it is so easy to use. It is just the fine tuning so I can see the thumbnails as Icons of the designs in the folders. I have the DVD. got it free with the Embroidery magazine I get. You can watch him on utube as well. hugs Helen

Helen-what magazine is that? I get a few different ones but never got one with a DVD? I am sure once I start working with the program, it will be easy-or semi-easy for me-I have never used any kind of digitizing program-it's all new to me. I had to upgrade to MB because the original program I had wouldn't work for my operating system. But because I already had the dongle from the old program-the upgrade was just under $500. I am anxious to learn to use it. I would love to be able to figure out how to create designs-for my own personal use & some of the guys my husband works with would like me to do personalized stuff for them. Just don't know at this point, where to start .
20173Helen, before you pay for anything, please contact debleerl here at Cute!! We both have Janome's Digitizer Pro, and she got a laptop with Windows 7 on it, and configured it somehow so that Digitizer Pro runs on it. I have XP and will keep it forever!! But she didn't have to buy anything extra, it's just something you do on the computer to fool it. Hugs, Marji

The upgrade is on the Janome website and is a free download. If I get it from the dealer it is on loan and I just return it after installing. WIll contact debleerl as soon as the website is back up so I can PM ..hugs Helen
