I guess you have made a decision to just go to the PC store - good luck! *4U
Sandra, so sorry to hear this sweetie, I use flash drives all the time. Now while I haven't had your problem, I have had the odd instance where it couldn't read a particular file. But I found the solution is to reformat on a regular basis - copy files to HD, reformat flash, copy files back to flash. I think the constant saving, moving, deleting of files *messes-up* (that's a technical term!!!) the drive and it gets confused, it can happen to any drive, especially external ones. Now this doesn't solve your problem, so first off, don't do anything drastic like *format*. Have you tried reading the flash rather than saving. Unplug the flash, plug-in again and try reading, see if that helps. If you can read your flash, try to copy your files to your HD, then reformat, and save files to flash. I do so hope something here helps, and that you can salvage all those files. I know this is no consolation to you at the moment, but, I keep my designs (and anything else of importance) on my HD, a flash and 2 externals, I'm fanatical about back-ups! Now please don't do anything drastic like *format*, if nothing here helps, wait, someone else might be able to come up with a solution. Hugs and a flower for you sweetie, and I so hope all your files are okay. Let me know how it goes please.
Thank you for your input . I will take the computer and flash card to the Cp shop tomorrow
That's well worth a try Sandra, all might not be lost, hoping for success for you sweetie.
