Thank you everyone for your thoughts, DH back about 10.30pm tonight. Back at work tomorrow, but allowed to take it easy there, they are a pretty good bunch. Hopefully it will heal sooner rather than later. Enjoying the peace and quiet right now as both kids in bed and an hour or two before he gets home.
So pleased to hear that libby, hope his arm continues to heal quickly, hugs and a flower sweetie.
Libby, this is GREAT news! I am so happy that he doesn't have to have surgery. And as for his response to you... don't you feel like slappin' the daylights out of husbands sometimes? Or in my case, all the time. LOL... Blessings to you and your family friend... GOD is watching and protecting you all. xoxo
It was the specialist that wondered what all the fuss was about, but yes, hubby slapping can be satisfying. Maybe we could get together and plot against the men. I have come to the conclusion that they serve little more than a reproductive and lawn mowing purpose. Black widow spiders, now I think there's something in that for all of us. LOL.
Wonderful news libster. I hope he get well soon, let him take as much rest as he can. *4U
Always good news if he gets to avoid surgery. Sounds like your local Dr. did a cover your behind move sending him off to a specialist. I guess it's better to admit you don't know. I don't know what type machine marji has, but a gigahoop for my machine wouldn't begin to cover my DH! hahaha. ;)
Great news, Lib, even if it is frustrating all that running around for nothing. Better nothing than surgery! Make him take it easy & rest it. If he won't sit still (like most men), hoop him between 2 pieces of WSS! Might need the Gigahoop for that. So pleased it's ok. Love you, Lib. Marji
I am so very happy that your DH does NOT need surgery. You take care and get him well soon so you can get back to your sewing "fulltime". Luv *4U Sue
Wonderful news libster. I hope he will get well soon. Flower and XoXo
Very good news libster, rest and inactivity will probably be the best medicine...Hang in there ...*4U
Great news! It's bad enough without having to have surgery as well. +1*
Hope all goes well - in the next couple weeks and he still will not need surgery. *4U
It turns out the doctor here had a panic over the stray piece of bone and the fact that he had been throwing DH's arm around to see how much it could move without knowing about the half inch bit of bone and packed him off for no real reason. DH will be on the go-slow for quite a few weeks yet, but it is good he doesn't need any surgical slice and dice after all. Should be home very late tomorrow night. He had to catch the bus there and then back again. The only bummer is that I can't go silly with a bit of design shopping without interuption, oh well, better he is intact.
now he can't sook he has to be the hero, leave him with the little bloke and go shopping
He might need a surgical slice and dice after looking after a 3 year old
I thought the 3 year old WAS the slice and dice. LOL. Where are you from minnieb? But, you are right, one less thing to sook about.
