I don't think there is a "Tweet" out there I don't have. Everyone has stitched out so nice. I usually make wall hangings for my dau. I hoop tear away and then float a piece. Sometimes I have just used cutaway and left it all on the back. If I'm going to frame it, I usually use canvas and just hoop with cutaway. Hugs..Carol
I have stitched many o their designs. They have all stitched prefect. Just like the picture of them.
I've stitched several of the tweet designs with out a problem. I used felt and one layer of stablizer. Can't remember, but I may have used cut-a-way and left it on since I framed the items.
That sounds like a neat idea. I bet they look really cute framed. I'm doing a quilt block with this one.
I have stitched out a lot of tweets with no problem, the only Embroidery Library design I have had trouble with was a Sun Bonnet Sue quilt label , the thread kept breaking on the flowers.I think is is just to dense, I will try enlarging it next time to see if that helps.
I just love the 'Tweets' designs.
I believe a lot depends on your choice of fabric. The Embroidery Library designs are usually digitized to perfection, but I have found that some of their designs are too heavy for some of the applications I tried them with. Personal example: One of the filigree fairies on a tee shirt. Even with heavy weight cut away stabilizer, and babysitting the machine every stitch of the way, it still puckered a little bit. I am entirely open to the suggestion that it was too much for Singer Futura to handle to start with. But, Fussy Futura handled the Norwegian Rosemaling and the Russian Folk Flower designs on felt with ease and grace.
Trial and error is the name of the game in some cases. It looks to me like the 'tomato' portion of the design is going to be the most dense. I'd try stitching that part (at least part of it) on a swatch of the fabric you intend to use... just to see how it does. You may have to tweak your tension a bit... then again, you may not.
I love doing machine embroidery, but it is a sometimes wasteful endeavor.
Good luck. Looking forward to seeing the design stitched out.
I will try and get it posted. It did stitch out nicely except for a little pull on the left side. I cut the fabric larger to be able to trim it down. Since it was for a quilt block and the backing had to be easy to hand quilt through, I couldn't leave the stabilizer in.
Never had any problem with Embroidery Library designs.
They always stitch out great. If you have any concerns, you may send them an e-mail, and they will help you out. Good luck!
I bought all their tweets and used two of them. They stitched out really well and I just love them. I used it on bags for my daughters. I did use 2 layers of stabilizer. Happy stitching.
That sounds like a really good idea. I'm sure they love the bags and will get lots of use out of them.
All the designs I have gotten from Emb Library have stitched out beautifully..I love their sales...in fact they have one right now...a design or pack for 40% off and you receive an email with a code for 4 free designs of your choice.
I have also stitched out there design--have posted 2 design lately on cushions Only used 1 layer of stabilizer.
Wow! That looks great. I haven't been able to stay on Cute very long lately, just long enough to give flowers and post a few comments. That's for the picture! You pillow looks great!
I have stitched out a lot of the Tweets in the past - depending on what you are stitching this on to - but the second layer of stabilizer can not hurt - if you are fearful of it not holding. Most of the ones that I stitched out where on t-shirts - I didn't use a second layer. Here is a picture of one:
Stitching out on cotton so I did use two layers. Putting it in a quilt. Thanks for your picture. You sweatshirt looks great! Thanks for sharing it.
I have not got this one, but I really like it!!! thanks DeVon
I too purchased this design. I am making a "Tweets" quilt top. All of my Embroidery library purchases and freebies stitch out fine. I will be watching for your sew out! Have fun with the design!
Bonnie
Look forward to seeing this design stitched out, its great.
Embroidery Library stitch out great. There are lot of stitches because they stablized the design with stitches.
