Rainy Day at the Market today. One of the Guys/Stall Holder said in his loudest voice,"Would the person who ordered the rain, please come and collect it as it has arrived". No wonder I love this Market. Always good for a Laugh

I love that kind of sense of humor - more people should have it! I sure like his rain comment - had me laughing for a bit!

I look forward to this Market. Love to sell items but even if I don't I have a good laugh.

I used to live in Reynella and it's not that far over the hills to Meadwos. It's so pretty in the Adelaide hills. I hope you do well at the next one. I know what you mean about the size of Marion - it's such a huge shopping centre as well. Love Ch

Looks beautiful now with all the spring flowers. Not good for the Hayfever though.

We had a very large indoor flea market open which is about 20 minutes from me. The building had been an old cotton mill. It completely shut down and went out of business a couple of years ago. Whoever had the idea to make it a flea market was a brilliant money maker. Weather can be hot or cold ,rain or shine and it is all indoors. There are hundreds of booths selling everything imaginable. I had thought perhaps I might rent a booth and get rid of things, the $50. a month fee was way to pricey for me. That is $600. a year. The man who owns it is really making the money. Kay

Way too much rent for me. You would have to sell lots before you pay for the rent.

They come and go. Lots of lookers. They say "You've been busy". "Aren't you clever". They pick up and put down again but seldom buy. Long pockets and short arms.

Flea market, I assume. If you don't laugh in one of them, you will surely cry. Done them for years. Love/hate thing. In one of them, a rainy day was the best day we ever had anywhere. Years ago. Not going to happen these days.

There is a little group who have been going as long as I have. We are like a little family. Often meet neighbours who I have never met before.

Just one guy is so funny. He had me laughing all day. Just what I need. Guess that is why I enjoy this Market.

Chris, It is at Meadows. Always rains at Meadows. Just a nice size market. One at Marion but far too big for me.

This guy never seems to be at his own stall. He wanders all the time - talking to the other stall holders. Has decided to pick on me ( Harmless fun). Love it.

LOL! Isn't it great to find people who can insert humor into these type things?

He did say something later that I thought was clever but now I can't remember what it was.

Well at least there was some humor in it. I hope you did well. It rained here, too.

I did reasonably well considering the weather. I love to be outside. Spoke to someone from inside the hall and she said that she hadn't sold anything all day. Such a pity. Find that some people never go inside the Halls.

Oh I like this. Were you able to sell much? From the other side of the world to you it is wet too. Tomorrow we have a severe weather warning and there is a high tide too:(

I sold mostly plants. It changes from Month to Month. I have to fight with plastic on days when it rains off and on. Still had a great day, but very tired.
