Hi Cuties! I have a special question. I am considering renting a table at craft store to sell some embroidery items. What I need to know is what types of things are good sellers and how would you price them? I'm new to this so just need guidance. Thanks.

I find it depends on the area you are in. Money is tight with everybody nowadays. I usually charge $7.50 for a dishtowel, add similar charge to a set of regular towels. Quilts are another thing, some areas you can get big bucks others not so much. I would suggest going to a local flea market and check prices and then go from there......good luck......

I've always heard that the price of the item should be 3 times the amount of the cost of the materials to make it. I've seen where the stitches are figured from anywhere from a $1 to $3 per thousand stitches. BUT, I've also read to not figure the stitch count... just charge an hourly wage sort of idea. Its a tough question to answer. Honestly, I'm inclined to believe that the bottom line of the bottom line to ask yourself the question: 'What would I pay for this?'
Good luck.

Hello,
I'm sure some of the cuties (mi30kaja,jkdavis1996...) here can help you with information. I never done a market, just sell on DaWanda, a german plattform like etsy :o)
Give you some links to posts about markets...
Greetings, Bettina
