It works just fine! If you don't want any shift you can use iron on stabilizer too. Suzanne
Works for me. I love it. I just started using it a few days ago and said wow better then sticky because sometime you have trouble pulling off the back.
i know it is a pain having to takeout the basting but i find it great especially for think things such as towles and i do a lot on wuilted calico saves straining on hooping....soozie and i have not found it shifting with this method.................soozie
also i have a feature where i can save several designs on the mahine and i keep it there always ready to use....soozie
Baste with all purpose thread in the top and embroidery bobbin thread in the bobbin. When you are done you just need to pull the bobbin thread, it slides right out.
I have never used this method but have always wondered about this myself. Good question. Marg
Thanks Marg...I know for myself sometimes it's hard to stick with a change :) *2U
I don't like to have to rip them out. If I knew how to make them longer in length, maybe I would like them better. Kay
I use it often. I would prefer that to the sticky stablizer. I do sometimes use the spray in addition to the basting. Basting get rid of the straight pins that sometimes get in the way.
Thanks! Sometimes I find myself repositioning pins so I won't have a diaster ;D *2U
