I am glad you found what you were looking for. I remember when my kids were little I could not find my credit union card. I looked everywhere. I had to cancel it and get a new one, then I went to put a floppy disc in my computer, (the discs really were floppy then) and there it was in the slot where the disc goes. My daughter who was about 18 months old at the time (now 21) had stuck it in there, probably just because it fitted.
Your ordeal of trying to find your stuff reminded me of sending my kids to clean their rooms and when I went to check on their progress they would be playing with something that had been lost for months. After that they would be looking for something and I told them to look in lost and found ~ "Their Rooms". lol So happy you found what you were looking for.
Glad you found your missing hoop and backing! That is why I do not clean up in my work room as when I tidy up I cannot find anything. Hugs Sally
So happy for you found your missing items, I'm thinking you need a nap after all that heavy lifting. LOL.
You are so right...I'm exhausted...so much so that I can't even think to spell it!
My hubbys grandmother called those little elves who came to hide our things and drive us crazy "switchers". They switch where you KNOW you last left something sitting to another spot to drive you batty.
:D
Sounds like the "switchers" have come to visit your house. I don't know how to get them to move on though, :( lol
That explains it all. Do they eat chocolate as well, I always seem to be short, and I swear it's not me!
No thats my husband ...I know that for sure! I count and he always gets more...same with the pizza!
I tell you the brownies come out at night!Glad you found the hoop.
Welcome!! You are in good company! I also keep on losing my embroidery marking pens, hoops, etc. and I know of a few other fellow embroideres, and ... the same thing happening to them. I think it is because we have so little time to do what we love most.Have a lovely day.***
Your tale sounds as if I could be telling it! I've hit upon the solution for finding lost items - buy a replacement! ;-D I'm glad all things have been found! Hugs and *'s for all
Glad you found the fabric - and now you have two hoops (which I think is a VERY good thing - trying to decide if I will invest in another one myself).
this sound a bit like me and i am sure others...the funniest one my friends could not find what she was looking for and swore someone had come into the house and stolen just that item lol...she finally fould it in the freezer.....bit of a worry that girl....soozie
yes if was funny and i still tease her about it when she cant find something i say have you looked in the freezer
Yes I understand, sometimes it seems items must grow legs and run away
Oh wow, I am soooo glad that I am not the only one that runs around frantically searching for stuff!! I was quite sure that I was on the way to Alzheimers!!!! Glad you found everything!!
welcome to the sewing world of nuts and bolts lol hugs carolyn
So glad you found the hoop and all that you were looking for, too.
Oh you make me laugh. Now you knew that you would find that hoop when you least expect it. Nice to know that others do the same crazy things only I don't have a husband to blame and my dog only goes counter surfing when I am not home and is not tempted by embroidery stuff. Sometimes I spend a whole day looking for something.
I'm missing some fabric at the moment but I know my husband wouldn't have a use for it.When he uses my sewing things he never puts them back where he got them from in the first place
Carolyn look for something else and you will find your 2 lost things. It seems we find them when we don't need them. he, he
