What makes me happy today 28th Sept is that it is my Birthday and I have reached the ripe old age of 67. Every school holidays I take our 7 grandkids out to lunch. Lately it has been to the Pizza Hut. Although I am not a great fan of Pizza's the kids love it. So today I am taking the kids, of course with their mothers, to the Pizza Hut. The granskids ages range from 7 to 14, 5 boys and 2 girls. One daughter has 4 boys and the other has the 2 girls and a boy. One daughter has no children yet. SO I'M HAPPY. Hugs Marg

I have elderly neighbours he is a kidneypatient and they are on a special vacation for patients like that. They have a big dog ( a bouvier) ,the dog is almost 12 years old, very old for such a dog and she's at my place during their vacation. The dog has a heartproblem and special medicins for that. Yesterday I thought she was not going to make it. I called the ped doctor, and she told me to give some extra medicins. So it made me very happy this morning she was a little better again. Not good, but better as the day before. I will be more happy if her owner is back on coming sunday! Because I feel a big responsibility now, even if we had spoken about the fact the dog is not in good health.
I also take care for their cat, that's in their own house but is also old: 20 years. So cuties it will be a relief if the owner is back again..

My husband is out of town...LOL..He and some friends go to Las Vegas about five times during football season. They leave in the middle of the night Saturday and arrive in time sunday to watch football all day and then Monday night too. They have so much fun...and my husband never got to do this when the kids were home. But for me ...since he retired...its at vacation Yeah!!!! Except he always emptys the dishwasher and now I guess I will...Maybe I'll just use paper plates until he gets home!!! I get to hold the remote control Too!!!!

My son bring me a new wallet and a bag today and my brother called me from Texas.

I am happy just to sewing. Another thing that made me happy, my sister called me this a.m.

Having lunch with my DH! He's been working 5 hours away - so the fact we are both in the same state at the same time is glorious.! And, unlike some of the respondents - NOT having rain! We've had 64 inches so far this year. ;-D

Taking Great Grandson to Early Head Start for his first day with my daughter, his grandmother. Mom is in college from 7:30 am so we get to do it 2 or 3 days this week.

Picked GGS up at 11:15. He had a great day and was excited to see us but wanted to stay & play. No tears. Makes me glow.

Finishing my stain glass pillows... (posted in projects). This set was my 9th pillow for Christmas, one more to go......... Then I can play with my FSL ornament covers that I've sewn out.

Coming home and getting hugs and attention from both my guys(son and Hubby).

Seeing that my little dog's eye is better. DH mended a broken fence in the garden and choosing a paint for our house roof, and of course just being alive and enjoying my surroundings. Lovely post - thank you.

Cool, I am really glad your doggie is better!!! And I agre with you, just being alive and staying healthy is a bonus!!

I actually got more than 2 hours of sleep last night, hooray. I suffer from insomnia and it is getting worst
as years go by. Lately it is sleepless nights but last
night a few uninterrupted hours of sleep and this morning I can
work like crazy. Hope you all have a good day.

Oh - how wonderful.

Coming home from work, what a day, so busy and my back is killing me, but I got home and had a nice cup of tea and hopefully out for dinner tonight.
Chatting with and embroidery customer who is a really nice lady, I really do like my embroidery work much better than nursing.

Oh! and reading all of the fun answers to my post about cutting up the bed sheets to test stitch on.

Time embroidering, time with grandkids and putting together my Album of pictures when we took grandkids on 9/11 to Shanksville where flight 93 went down. Finally got to it.

Thinking about making my "Things I Want List"...FIESTA ANYHOW ;D *2U

buying a good used lawn motor for next summers grass cutting .I keep/kept telling my hubby i am to old to be cutting 5 peoples grass with a push motor lol while he finally heard me .carolyn

when do we get to see her?

Sun was shining,leaves are turning colour,birds flying overhead preparing to head south- got some sewing repairs done; a productive day overall. Thanks for asking!

So far reading a funny email from my Priest (she has a wonderful sense of humour).

Been for a 2km bike ride whilst watching the morning TV show and seeing the Brownlow presentation (Australian Rules Football best and fairest medal awards) - WOW you should have seen some of the beautiful gowns the wives and girlfriends were wearing, just stunning.

And now I'm about to start some sewing - that always makes me happy! Oh! I forgot to say also that having my girls around yesterday for a sewing day made me happy - just remembering it makes me happy.
