Any experience with Floriani metallic threads, I want to give it a try, is it as strong as the add. says? Thank you.

My advice is to slow the machine down and use a needle with a bigger eye for less friction. Suzanne

I have NOT used the metallic threads. BUT. I do use the "regular" Floriani threads and love the shine and shimmer. Much better than C&C threads which wrap around tension discs and have to be removed by a repairperson. Also like Floriani Embroidery Suite. Expensive, but oh so fun!!!!

That is one of the threads that I use most. It is very strong and shiny like rayon. I do not use the metallic, so don't know for sure, but where I buy mine they tell me it is the strongest and they sell several brands.
