Jo, goodness knows where you find these great sayings. Reading the comments added below adds to your piece. I heard yesterday evening that a young woman I know in her early 30's had died. The latest goodies does not make us better, always something else goes on the list of the 'must haves'. I could go on but will stop

So sorry to hear about your very young friend passing... I so agree with all that everyone has to say !!! I go thru the same things with my boys... This came to me over night... believe it or not.. sometimes I wake up and have this stuff in my head... some times I look in my multitude of reading material and post what I hope is a wise saying.. I always post the name of the Author if I use something from them.. Jo

Constantly seeking materialistic fulfillment does not leave much time to savor the simple things in life, which give true happiness, pleasure, and the feeling of being blessed! Praying that my grown children can learn the secret of contentment soon, rather than later after years of foolish spending of resources!!
