Hi Cuties, I watched a program and it spoke of making a crocheted edge with FSL stitch I think I missed part of the segment. Has anyone made a crocheted edge with your embroidery machine and if so can you direct me to where I might find these designs, I thought it would make nice trim around collars and skirts etc.

Yoriko does lovely crochet edges here is one that she gave me when I went to visit. It is a bit wrinkled because I am in the process of moving. You will probably find some of here edges on her website. I have not had a good look but you could contact her via her site if you need some ideas.

Thanks, that's very nice! I wished I saw more of the program to see how it was done, I think the stitches went along the edge of the hanky and the stitches of the crochet was along the wws.... I'm a little confused?!

Yoriko has used a zig zag stitch to attach the lace to the cloth. much the same as you do when joining pieces of fsl to make ornaments. It is the way that she has digitized it that gives the crochet look. I would imagine that you could probably do it all in your embroidery hoop with some precision hooping.
