Napkin for Christmas.

After the design for Halloween (which we don't celebrate in the Netherlands) I started on Christmas designs (which we do celebrate ;)). Made a napkin design (did the complete alphabet) and used a placement line. This is a test stitch. I made the left leaf a bit slimmer, did the leaves in two shades of green instead of one. Now I have to find some not too expensive napkins and stitch them out for the whole family.

So what brand machine do you have? and it changes colors for you? Is this one of your own designs? I thought I had found them all - I will go back and check - I do not want to miss a thing! Lookin good! christine LLDS!

I have a.o. a Melco EP4, a 4-needle machine, which means I can do designs with up to 4-colours without changing thread. And I have a beautiful Husqvarna /Viking Ruby that I use for almost anything else.
It is my own design and I did not post this one, but if people are interested I could do so.

it would mean I'd have to post 26. Which is a bit of a chore.

Martine, this is lovely work - you have been busy - but the proof is in - if you get the set done for your family to use at Christmas. I don't doubt you will, either. *4U

Thanks Shirlene, and I will certainly get the set done - they have about 5300 stitches - depending on the letter - and with only 4 colours my 4-needle machine makes stitching a pleasure. *4U and anybody else.

This looks very elegant. Instead of celebrating Halloween where you live do you have some kind of harvest celebration?

Thank you Chris, it was just a not too complicated, easy to stitch design for the family dinner.

Thank you. Yes, I could, but I hate those 1 cm hems, especially the corners.

Martine, I do a rolled hem with my overlocker. Hugs Yvonne
