Hi, I see many post Cuties buying Metro thread, what is your experience, I just went to the site and they have very good price, but I do not want to buy a thread that is constantly breaking.

Love it...I have all colors...Sometimes I have a bit of a shredding problem with any brand of thread...it just happens...can't blame Metro. Really a huge savings if you buy the 5000m cones if you can. I have a Baby Lock Ellisimo.

I envy all of you. I have the Ellegante 2 and when I try to use Metro the bobbin thread keeps pulling up to the top of the fabric. It is lovely thread...wish I could use it. H&*

Loosen your tension.

I still have one spool of thread that I can try. Thank you I will loosen the tension and try again. Hugs

I have a Brother Machine and use it all the time. Colors are great and so is the price. Have better luck with it than some other brands.

LOVE IT. I have two Brother machines. I use the thread and the plastic sided pre-wound bobbins (and reuse the empty ones for winding colors for FSL and ITH projects).

I also reuse the bobbins for FSL bobbins to match my top thread. I am doing red lace right now for my white Xmas tree. I never found any low stitch count snowflakes that I liked so I am using some of the tatting star designs from Murphy's. In order to be reversible the same thread weight was recommended for top and bobbin thread. They are turning out beautifully and stitching perfectly on my ULT with Metro thread.

I also save a lot of money reusing the bobbins for sewing. I don't ever buy Brother bobbins now.

I have a Janome MC9700 bought about 20 spools of Metro to try and I've fallen in love. Great thread but to be on the safe side only purchase a few spools the first time. Hopefully you won't be disappointed.

I have a brother se-400 and the metro thread works well with this machine, I have also used embroidery x thread and also have no troubles with it either, I recommend both threads. The deals are fantastic at Metro! Pre wound bobbins a must too!

I had more thread breakage with mederia thread than metro I have had very little problems the only one it seems is the black now and then and that would happen with any black due to the thread coloring itself. I slow my machine down when it comes to the black and I usually don't have a problem but I do keep a good eye on it. I have used metro for over a yr now and would reccommend it highly for my viking D1 I also use their bobbins but I only buy the plastic sided ones, I was told never to use the paper ones in my machine due to lint build up so I have never tried them.
I agree with shirley try a spool or 2 and see if you like it, but I have bought nothing else since I found their site and I am a loyal customer now LOL

I love it with no problem using it with my Baby Lock, The colors are very bright and have a great sheen. The colors may not be as you think on your monitor but they are very bright and clear. They have a great sheen. And sew out so great. I don't intend on buying any thing else. I have bought more expensive name brand and it is no better to me than Metro. Sara.

You won't be disappointed at the quality and you sure can't beat the price. I use Metro exclusively on my Brother Quattro without any problems. The stitchouts are stunningly beautiful. So, order and enjoy. Oh, they have the best customer service you could ask for anywhere. --Sandra

I use it all the time and have no problem with my Baby Lock Elegante. Like Shirlene said if I have breaking it is the needle.

Have been using the thread and bobbins (paper sided, paper removed) in my Pfaff machines and have had no trouble at all. The price is great.

I can only speak of the variegated thread, because that is all I have purchased of the Metro, but I haven't had any problems at all with it. And on top of that, they have the spools that will lock in your thread tails for storage, so you don't have wayward thread unraveled all over the place. I would buy Metro again. Definitely!

The Metro thread sews perfectly on my Brother ULT but will not run on my commercial AmayaXT without excessive thread breaks. There are some Amaya users that can run the Metro thread OK.

I like the look of the thread because it is very shiny. I purchased the entire color set and use it all the time on my Brother home machine.

The Metro plastic side bobbins are great. I use them even on my Amaya XT and can't tell any difference in them and the NEB plastic side bobbins. The Metro bobbins are about half the price of NEB too.

If you have a home machine the Metro should work for you and their prices are great.

I have also used it without any problems with my Bernina's, but don't buy a large quantity without checking it out. I do remember in the past a while back that a cutie bought some and then sold it here on Cute because her machine did not stitch well with it. Maybe some would take it off your hands if you are unhappy. Kay

I use Metro thread and hardly ever have breakage troubles - it is usually my needles fault when I do - not the thread - try one spool out before you purchase a bunch - that way - you purchase cost will be small - rather than large.

Both my Brother and my Viking love it. I have had no thread breakage, (except when I let the thread wrap around my stand) Hahaha! Hugs, Judy

My Babylock ellegante2 has no problems using it. I do like the sheen. they have been out of color cards for months-I keep asking when they will be in. They last posted something about before LAST Christmas. Colors do not come the same as you see on your monitor. Nice colors, though if you want to match don't hold your breath. But do try some, the sale is still there.

I too have used this thread and I have not had any problemsI have used it for almost 2 years now.I love the lustre that it has and it washes and dryes very well and no fading either. If you haven't tried it but only a few colors to see if you like it. You won't be out that much money on say 5 colors that should be enough for you to know if you and your machine like it.

I use it and like it- no breaking issue
Only thing is colors on monitor do not match cones.
So order 1 to see if you like it or get color card.
Sure has helped my budget. LOL
