HHHAAAA...HHHOOO...now that is a funny question!!!
I just filled orders from my last show and now have to put the machine aside to knit stuff for the next & last show of the year.........I can't start Christmas stuff until 2nd week of December after the last show, unless I get an order for something Christmasy in between........Boo Hoo!!!
On the same schedule as last year...not a thing even started! :-) As least I'm consistent!
Oh you just had to say the 'C' word, didn't you? LOL! I've got one quilt made and two more to go... that's all I'm doing.
Ideas are always going though my head for each occassion, but sometimes getting it done along with everything else???? I keep trying!
Got loads of stash material and supplies, cant seem to get going :) *
I've been working on Christmas projects for two months..... (big family) until I am about to the bah/humbug stage! LOL LOL
LOL not even thought of that yet. Have several things I want to make for grandkids but getting startd is the problem. Guess I'd best get to it before it sneaks up on me.
Now that I can sew again I've attempted to finish the ones I started back in May/June. Problem 1. I've run out of white felt. Problem 2. I've run out of 4" wadding. Problem 3. I've run out of purple and yellow ribbon. Problem 4. I can't find my heatproof wadding. So I'm back to 5 UFO's and I only got going 5 days ago. Such is life! GUess I'll need to shop.
I have a few ideas but I am working on finishing some T shirts for the GC. I cannot believe that Christmas is around the corner. Sarah.
I've been so swamped that I might be able to start thinking about Christmas in July...of next year. I usually agonize over what to do for Christmas, and then end up giving care packages and calling it merry. My crew likes that just fine, so there is probably no reason to stress over it. I do anyway.
I'm finding the one's I started last year and plan to finish and give this year..I hope LOL
I read a magazine article recently written by a gal who had good intentions. She finally photographed her intentions and put the pictures in a card. You know, the thought that counts. :) Getting out last years' projects are actually a good idea.
I'm great at starting something at then last minute and then having to give up because life interveins and so I just put it in the next year shelf
@ Emily - A plan is always a good place to start and than it gets lost, off track, etc. etc. LOL. @Justonlyme - A picture is worth a thousand words but suppose they hold me to everything that's on that picture...hmmmm LOL ;D *2U
Snow in Minnesota? I don't think so, we hit 80 today and I'm loving it.
I have lots of plans and ideas...the only problem is "work is in the way." If only I could retire.
I had WAY more time to do stuff when I was working. My "swamped" schedule came BECAUSE I retired. Go figure! At least when you are working, you schedule in a little bit of "fun". Everyone figures that you have nothing to do when you retire and then it starts hitting the fan. Good luck. :)
Retirement sure sounds good!!! LOL ;D *2U @Justonlyme more time when you were working...(hmmmm scratching my head), I still have less time, LOL ;D
I am doing the easy stuff. The fsl. As long as I hear my machine... I'm OK. I have sooo much sewing to do. I keep saying -tomorrow- when I have slept better... but then I don't sleep better. I was just telling H that there is snow in Minnesota. I guess I was wrong! christine Live Lauhg Download Stitch!
I keep telling myself the same thing, that I will be full of energy after some GREAT rest...it NEVER happens, LOL ;D *2U
I love FSL - I can hear the machine and play on the computer at the same time! Today is praying hands, not sure where I got them - they are really nice!
its hard to when its 80 degrees in northern minnesota. not complaining.LOL
Its hard to get started when its 80 degrees in northern minnesota, not complaining.LOL
Send some of that nice warm to the west coast. We had a dud of a summer. Maybe three weeks above 70 if we use our imagination a little bit and turned on the heat a tad.
Yeah Right! I guess I'm the same as you I have ideas, but haven't actually done anything yet. Gonna be fun, we shift house in January, so I have to pack as well.
Have fun packing...I hate to think about the unpacking I have to do at our new office on my job...I'm dreaming of a white christmas already...FIESTA ;D *2U
I work on my Christmas projects all year long - but there are some - that I never get to until the very last week - as usual. Good luck!
Shirlene it seems like you are on track, working all year long is not a bad idea... However; if I do as much as I think/plan, I would be an assembly line with mass productions...FIESTA ;D *2U
I've got my supplies ready. Just can't get into it...it's not even Halloween yet. Just now decorating my house for fall.
WOW, your supplies are calling your name...come touch me LOL. I have to get my mojo back. I come home look, think, and say wow I am going to create something. And back to sitting down I go LOL ;D *2U
