My garndchildren are still to young (oldest 2 ) but Yes I colured them after sewing.

can you sew with paper ? What do I have to keep in mind ifI want to give this a try ?

Zoefzoef, je kunt op kaarten heel gemakkelijk borduren als je versteviging in je ring spant en de kaart met een beetje lijmspray of een gewone plakstift op de versteviging bevestigd. Het borduurmotief moet liefst een lijnmotief zijn (redwork) en de steken niet te klein, anders krijg je een fraaie perforatie.
Ik heb zelf twee rozen gepost, en twee motieven geschikt voor Kerst, ik zal de link erbij zetten.

love these did you colour them in yourself and are they ok to sew out on stock card and if special card is used what is it,.
Is the card double fold, so that the revers of the design is hidden from view when completed.

I use orddinary card and colour them after I have sewn them. I stick just a piece of card on the back of the design to cover them up. Artistic Thread work has a very good video to show how it is done!
