What a beautiful lady over the years. Even in bad health.
Shirlene, how wonderful to know that your dear Mother's memory will always be in the hearts of all Cutie members...she is alive in all of us, as her kind thought passes on in her honour. Congrats to the new recipient of the Scholarship.
I loved Miss Loretta!!!!! She had a quick wit and very wise words and was inspiration to me. Miss Veronika is so very kind to keep her memory alive as she was really was a CUTIE!
Your mother looked to have a wonderful spirt, it shows in those beautiful eyes, and she has passed that wonderful spirt to her daughter. Blessings to you and your family, thank you for showing us these lovely photos. Lucy

OH! how I love these amazing old photos, they capture the beauty and spirit of those gone before us. Shirlene, your mother was a beautiful person and you honor her with you own grace and beauty.
A very admirable gesture of Miss Veronika. Congratulations!
Who will be the next lucky?
I do not know until Miss Veronika makes an announcement. There as been someone nominated.
Shirlene,
What a wonderful heart your Mother had. I know you miss her very much.
Thank you Shirlene, I was wondering about it too. :D
What a wonderfultribute to your mother!
I am glad that if others wanted to know - that they asked. Thank you so much.
Actually - if you click on the Miss Loretta blue bar - you can read about.
However, my Mother (Miss Loretta - and no one knew she was my Mother during her membership here)- when she was very ill and she was having trouble coming online and doing any embroidery work - Miss Veronika gave her a six month free subscription out of the goodness & kindness of her heart - when my Mother (Miss Loretta) received that emial she knew that she was on Hospice and that time was short - she wrote to Miss Veronkia and told her that she really couldn't make use of this wonderful gift - would she please give it to another - when Miss Veronika received the email - she made a decision to give a scholarship every six months in Miss Loretta's name - the first person was chosen by Miss Loretta and when her six months is closeing - the receipant has the chance to submit another's name and then it just has continued on and on and on. It is in honor of Miss Loretta - but it is Miss Veronika that does it - what a special tribute and such a wonderful way to keep on giving to others in my Mother's name. I hope this helps, but there really is more info in the postings. Unconditional Love, Shirlene
What a touching story-it brought tears to my eyes.
