yes it is one of the best smells d/h bought himself a bread machine and loves to play with it all the time so i say go for it...he has just started making pizza dough i just love a man in the kitchen....lol ( i am a bit spoiled he loves to cook and is great at it so i let him)... more time at the machine....soozie

I used to bake almost all of our bread - but that was before I got my embroidery machine! I always used fresh yeast and could make a loaf the old fashioned way far quicker than a bread making machine. (My loaves didn't have a hole in the bottom either! LOL)

If I use my bread machine, it's just to make the dough. I still like to bake my bread, and buns in the oven.

yes, I agree. Been a while since I made my own. I have both a bread machine and a bread maker. Now that I have all these allergies it's difficult to make bread. Still have to find something to replace the yeast(that's my highest rating allergy)!
You are making me smell some delicious home made bread and maybe even some homemade jam or jelly - yum yum!
