An Idea - I need a little guidance. I'd like to make a needle cushion that is filled with a sharpening/cleaning substance. It would be a 3D shape, like a tiny pin cushion, but be filled with something like sand. I saw one at Joanne's that was shaped like a strawberry and it was really heavy. It was also $9 and that was too much. Does anyone have an idea on how to make one? What should it be filled with? Seems like some Cutie has already done this...... Thanks!

The filler is called Emery sand.Available at most places where you buy topsoil, rocks, sand. Then just make pin cushion into any shape..

What a super idea. I had to buy a pin cushion that I'll never use to get one. Think I'll make some for friends. Thanks

I wonder if a little sanding/polishing grit mixed with the sand would work for the sharpening part. christine LLDS!
