He is just as cute as the others, love it! How about "Moradito" means purple in Spanish.
OK...I'll get in line....would love love love to have the pattern for these.
Is there a site you could post? These are way cuter than the old fashioned sock monkeys, made out of men's work socks!

Sorry there isn't a pattern. It really is just the same as the sock monkey with a few adjustments in shaping. Really the paws should be sewn as well, but I haven't done that to this one.
he is just darling and i would love to make them can i send you a pm....soozie
If you wish. If you have a pair of this type of sock I might be able to guide you through the stages. Wish you could all come to my place.
Lionel was the name I was going to suggest but I see others have suggested that. He is beautiful, most regal
He's adorable, as are all of your "critters". As for a name, I don't know, but I do know that he must be from the purple PRIDE. Sorry, I couldn't resist the pun.
Hugs and *'s, Deb
When my DH was still here, we used to own a Fuchsia Nursery and there is a Fuchsia called "Purple Pride". Some names come easily, but I think this one is Lionel.
Love it- Love it. I am bad at names, cutie pie, but too soppy. Like the Lionel suggested
Oh I just love these sock toys, u are so clever, please can U tell me how U do them I live In South Africa/
Send me a PM. Not so easy to tell you but easier to show you. Wish you were closer.
Look at the top of the page in community, there is Public, freebies, personel and the last on the right is private. Click on this and there you can write a message to mi30kaja which only the two of you can see
Aww this one is so cute....I could give it a name but it won't come to me if I call it.....lol
To me it looks like a male lion. Lionesses do not have long hair. Hello Lionel!!!!! :)
Violet - Violetta could work. You might want to ask the very young shoppers what color they would want if they were going to buy one of your sock animals then you will know what color is in demand.
I am keeping all of the names in my mind as I intend to make a few Lions of various colours.
He is quite beautiful. You are so very talented Carolyn. As for a name - I have no idea!!! Sarah.
Lyn, this is wonderful in purple - what a darling little lion.
