These socks were sent to me from A Cutie. I made this one last night and have asked her to name him. His mane is Brown even though it looks purple in the photo.

It is a little harder with these socks to judge where to cut as I use the stries as a guide, but I am happy with the results.

Yes, I have been doing some FSL owls as well and some Family Tree research. Not too much housework though. Still I make the sock toys at night while watching TV
