Absolutely Brilliant Household Tip

Always keep several Get Well cards on the mantle. So if unexpected guests arrive, they will think you've been sick and unable to clean.

How funny, maybe they will help out and do it for you.

Love it. But what happens when even the cards have a thick layer of dust on them.

I get up at 6:30 and throw on some clothes to go out to feed. I feed bottles to 2 pigs, 2 goats, 1 sheep and 1 calf. I feed my dogs cats and larger goats. Then I come in for a cup of coffee and enjoy cute on the computer. I sometimes get hung up for way toooooooooo long. Next I put some clothes on to wash and sweep or vacuum. By this time it is time to be back outside for another round of bottle feeding. Back in for lunch and fold a few clothes. I try to make it back to the computer to check on "cute". The rest of the day is pretty unpredictable. I may sew, work with my animals, do yard work or help the hubby with a few farm projects. Sometimes we may have a petting zoo. Then it's feeding time for all the animals. Ofcourse next it's feeding time for us people. Some days we just meet ourselves coming and going. Two days a week I keep my grandsons so the schedule is thrown out the window! lol Somedays I have lots of time so I sew and visit on cute.
The next two weeks are the busiest of the year for us. Hope I can continue to check in with all the cuties!

I get up at 6, do husbands breakfast and make his lunch. Make myself tea see to the puppy(Jessica) and take her for a walk in the garden. When hubby leaves I sit in front of the computer with another cup of tea. Check my emails and come onto "cute" Sometimes I have the machine going already, depending on my orders. If I have digitising to do, I will sit and work on some of it. I now try to go and shower before getting stuck into the digitising as time sure does fly.
Check my dairy and do a bit of housework. Do my running around/shopping/visiting. The days do not seem long enough.
I try to get the food on by 4
Clean up after supper and then get stuck in the sewing room again.
Hugs Yvonne

Up at 5.30. Turn on computer. DH and dog still asleep. Shower have a bite to eat. Spend next 30 mins on e mail and Cute. 6.30 go for an 1 hour walk with my friend. Have tea with DH and read the newspaper. The rest of the day is taken up with sewing, shopping, friends and of course Cute. My computer is opposite my sewing machines which makes keeping in touch easy. How I love retirement.

Lyn, right now - there is no normal routine to my day - but I do go between my embroidery and Rick's PC in the other room - all day long - plus do all the other things that are necessary - today - I picked up meds at doctor's and pharmacy - 5 miles apart - got the car washed - bought gas & did some shopping - sarted some embroidery for a pillow - read email - chatted on AIM with a friend - did FB updates - CUTE - and now I am ready to watch a movie with Rick - then do some more embroidery and Internet surfing. No time for any cleaning today - oh well - it will be here for another day. So when you say routine - there is none - I just get done what I need to do - as it comes. Hehehe!

Its 7pm PT California. I just got done with dinner stuff and checking emails. My life is a zoo right now literally with contractors in and out all day.
Finally, getting closer to end. Today they started
installing tile and i heard it will take 3 days instead of 2 but the guys are amicable and professional so besides having no kitchen, and all the furniture piled hi I've had nothing to do because all my stuff is out of reach. Next week put all the stuff back and take down the next rooms for carpet install.
My mom called and LOL is doing carpet change too- I guess during home improvement they spilled varnish all over. Oh, and there is more drama but I'll leave that out. I can't wait for the peaceful sound
of my embroidery machine humming around.
Hugs,
Linda aka Bumblebee

This little cutie has just vacuumed the house. I know it is not perfect as I didn't move furniture. Oh! for an open plan living type of home. I have too much furniture in a small older type home. Actually I have too much junk.

My DH is a neat/clean freak so I vacuum the walkways and the stairs everyday since the only way up to daughter's bedroom is on her bottom. We put those furniture moving things under most everything so that has helped a lot at getting under big pieces of furniture.

Wake(I'm usually still awake) at 4am when my DH gets up. At 5:15 am back down for a nap and up at 6am to get ready to take my daughter to work. She got the wires out of her foot on Tuesday so maybe by the end of November she can start driving herself. Home 9-10am to put laundry in and some house cleaning. My DH comes home so outside to take a walk with him. The computer is on all day so when I need to have a little break check on e-mails and cuties. In between there is sewing and other projects (have worked the last couple months on organizing the basement and getting rid of clutter), dinner preparation, baths, and maybe another load of laundry (wet towels). My daughter says I'm fidgety and can't stay still. The first weekend of each month I clean all the ceiling fans and the last weekend of the month one or two windows and screens.

Haven't figured that out. I keep working on a better plan. This will change again when I don't have to drive for an hour to get my daughter to work. I'll even get up after being in bed for a short while and go do something that I remembered I forgot

What's housework Lyn? ha ha ha!!!

I too do that have a shower, blow dry the hair. Do my makeup have breakfast. I then turn on the computer and answer emails. Then I just leave it on whilst I'm here sewing. The computer is opposite my sewing table. As there is a little "ting" when a new email arrives, I can just slide over and check it out. Have a great day - the sun is trying to burst through the slightly overcast sky. About 19c today. O.K. I'm off to collect my new HORN sewing table. Will chat to you later.

Love Chris
