So glad to see you on the improve Suzanne. Keep well and rest that foot. I love going shoeless, but it's warm over here. I feel for you with the cold weather on its way. Love and blessings Chris
Thank you Chris! I love shoeless too but it is getting too cold for that here. Polar socks here I come! Suzanne
I am so proud of you. Love ya, Suzanne and can't wait to see you an a couple of months.
That's such good news, that things are coming together for you at last. Sounds like you're going to need a few double polar fleece boots for that sore foot. Make a statement for each season, like Hallowe'en, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Snowtime, Cardinals and Spring, with a choice of fabric as in 'if your foot is going to give you lemons, then make coloured lemonade boots'.... :} ...
Thinking of you and hoping that all continues to progress well.
AlmaG.
Love your suggestions. Yep I will need the polar sox soon. Thanks for the good thoughts. Suzanne
Happy you are getting better! Won't be long till you are getting around fine. Good luck!
Glad to know you are feeling some better. Just keep on getting better. Hugs DeVon
Know all the pain and discomfort you are going through. My daughter had her wires removed on Tuesday after being in her foot for eight weeks. Got her a walker so she can start to put weight on her heel this weekend. Hope you continue to keep feeling better. Lots of Hugs for you.
Thank you! I hope your daughter keeps making strides towards her recovery too. I can sympathize with her pain.Does it hurt to remove the wires? Suzanne
When the doctor pulled them out it was fine until the final pop like a cork and she said that stung. I was holding her because she wanted me to but she would have been fine on her own.
There was some blood but I'm putting those round spot bandages on both of the wire holes and a bandage across them.
Her doctor wanted her to have a surgical stocking on to help with the circulation and swelling so if you need to wear one I have a great tip on getting it on. Just let me know.
Glad to hear that all went well! Take good care of yourself. I sure hope the healing process goes very quickly! I do not know where you are located but you sound like you may need to purchase some thermal socks and some slides with a hard bottom. It will be cold weather very soon! Hugs and prayers, Linda
I am in Rhode Island USA. Yes it will be cold soon. Planning on polar soxs soon. Thank you Suzanne
Suzanne, so glad you are doing better - do whatever it takes to heal properly.
Thank you! It will take some time to really heal. Walking is a chalange right now and keeping the pain in control. Getting better! Hope all is well with the both of you also! Suzanne
Apart from the pain - (I hope you have that under control)- it is the perfect time to sit back and relax. With no housework for a bit you can get more time with your machine!! LOL Get better soon.
Glad to hear you're doing better. Not being able to wear shoes sounds great to me as I love going barefooted in the house. By all means protect your toe. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Hugs
Thank you so much. Believe me I am protecting that toes with the wire in it. Suzanne
Hope rest of healing goes well and you will be much better than before surgery.
